Politically Above the Law

America is doomed if you accept this conclusion from the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton. What you should accept is the evidentiary findings from this investigation, because the evidence that was found and presented does not support the conclusion. The FBI’s notion of “intent” and the actions of a “reasonable person” in her position are clearly supported by the evidence found. In other words, why would anyone in a governmental position such as Secretary of State, ever use any form of unsecured communication regarding ANY sensitive information regardless of its classification? The fact is she used not just one, but several personal servers to communicate and store any governmental information, when policy and security prohibits such communications. The willful act to ignore these policies only raises question of the underlying intent of doing so. Such actions are “grossly negligent” because the risk of harm, intrusion and security is extensive op...

The Obsession with Labels and Registries

Image
The Facebook page was asking if the driver's licenses of sex offenders should look like this. To no surprise, the over whelming response was...yes. Of course the intent of such labeling is based solely upon keeping society safe from dangerous predatory persons, right? After all, they have public access registries so you know if a sex offender lives in your neighborhood so you can stay clear of any interaction with them. It's all about knowing what lies in the dark shadows that otherwise is invisible to your naked eye or your unsuspecting intuition. But I might not call issue to such labels if it were delved out in a more fair and unbiased manner. What I'm saying is that we really shouldn't just pick and choose how bad one crime is over another. We should label them all so we can each decide who is civilly acceptable to exist in our particular circle of safety. For instance, I think we should label all convicted felons in this manner. After all it seems just...

Un-Twisting the Twisted Agenda

Having had a concealed carry permit for 34 years, not one of my guns has ever loaded itself, cleaned itself, removed itself from its holster and has never discharged itself or caused any threat or harm from merely existing as an object in my possession. The insane notion that my legally owned and responsibly carried guns will commit a crime because they simply exist is ridiculous. Yet so many want to take my right to possess and carry away from me. What now? Simply reclassify an object and identify it as an “assault-weapon” and then ban it. The problem is, it’s impossible for an object to commit an assault unless a person makes it a weapon in order to commit an assault. It’s time to end this confusion.   Today's Lesson: Write down the following points three times while reading the words out loud. After completing this simple task, perhaps you will clearly understand that you cannot change the facts to be something they are not. We have a people problem; not an object problem...
