Supreme Court to Hear Arguments on Child's Fourth Amendment Rights

ALEXANDRIA Va. and CHICAGO, Feb 22, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire Decisions from these arguments may address long standing concerns of parents and their rights concerning protecting their children while under the care and supervision in public schools. Currently in NYS, if DSS has cause to investigate any allegations that may involve your child; they can and will, without your knowledge or consent, interview or interrogate your child and ask any questions that they so desire. The school will cooperate 100% with DSS. You might say that I have given the school explicit instruction in writing that under no circumstances is your child or children to speak with anyone, outside of school personnel, without your knowledge or presence. The fact is, the school sees this as an official investigation by DSS or CPS and likely will not even tell you that this interrogation occurred. In most cases you will find out by letter from DSS or CPS, after the fact, or by general conversation with your chi...

Video - Hard to Dispute the Truth!

It's ironic how video can reveal the truth about what really happens when no other witnesses are present. This video touts how patrol car videos exonerate police officers of inappropriate activity during traffic stops and dealing with unsavory individuals. The video speaks for itself and gives the viewer an opportunity to see the real events as compared to what might have been told or claimed otherwise. In my opinion, this is solid evidence that can either corroborate or incriminate those involved. But why do so many law enforcement agencies, along with some prosecutors, disapprove of the use of video in both patrol vehicles and in interview rooms? If seekers of justice are only in the pursuit of the truth, then what is there to fear about videoing all interviews and traffic stops? Some agencies have actually removed the patrol car cams from their vehicles as policy against their use. Some agencies have hidden video in interview rooms but refuse to use these devices while intervi...

This Judge Gets it Right!

Jail for woman who falsely cried 'rape' Judge Reddihough said: “False allegations of rape have two particularly serious consequences: firstly the person falsely accused faces the nightmare of being arrested, kept in custody for many hours facing an allegation which he fears may not be successfully refuted and which could lead to him being wrongly convicted and sentenced to a long term of imprisonment; secondly, they have a serious effect on the administration of justice in cases of rape." “Concern is often expressed over what is said to be the low conviction rate when the dreadful crime of rape is alleged. Juries have a difficult decision to make and publicity over cases such as this only serves to increase the plight of those woman who are genuine victims of rape and makes such an offence harder to prove.” Intention false allegation reporting is too often never pursued  or is merely treated as filing a false incident or police report...a slap on the hand f...

Exonerated! Stand in This Man's Shoes For a Moment!

Media Frenzy Aids Wrongful Jailing for Child Murder; 'Miracle' Exoneration 5 Years Later My comment posted to this article : Our justice system is nothing more than a "for profit" dynasty that feeds itself by whatever means necessary to sustain its existence. Unless you have been personally "caught up" into these types of injustices, I'm not sure that the trusting and naive public truly understands what precedences these methods of unethical investigations and prosecutions set upon our lives and the lives of our children. Society wants closure on things they can't or refuse to comprehend. If a confession is made, guilt is assumed and anything that happened up to that point is not relevant. And honestly, most feel that whatever method is needed to get that confession is okay because an innocent person would never confess to something they did not do. This is grossly untrue and has been proven and documented. The other guilt that the pub...
