A New "Offender" Registry

Register-Her website

I find this quite comical and yet appropriate because it only levels the playing field for those whom feel that it's okay to make false allegations without any remorse or accountability for their actions. I agree with many of the articles and radio commentary on the A Voice for Men website and Paul Elam's Blog Talk Radio show; as it really does seem that men are being victimized and imprisoned falsely without much support or recourse.

I'm not a big fan of registries as I feel that they cause many collateral issues and they are not equal and fair for all types of felons. Sex Offender registries are yet to be proven to be effective for anything other than preventing those registered from freely living, working and co-existing within society. The recidivism rate is the lowest of any other crime and those that do re-enter the "system" are violated for not registering; not because they committed another sex offense. The registry is nothing more than a foundation for hate crimes.

Again, if registry is going to fair and equitable and that we will allow dual-punishment for all felony crimes (serving a sentence + registry), then EVERY felon should be registered and placed on a public list for everyone to see and to choose if they want a convicted felon living or working next to them. It should be no different for a murderer, a drug dealer, a felon DWI, an embezzler; any felon! Let's get those skeletons out of the closet for everyone to see and judge! It puts new meaning to the saying "How do You Like Me Now?"

False Allegations are equivalent to Murder. These allegations stops a person's life "dead in their tracks" killing them financially, killing their reputations and killing the lives of their families. False accusers should be punished civilly and criminally and to the same extent as they punished the accused. And anyone whom contributed to the false allegation through collusion or corroboration should be punished as accomplices and co-conspirators and punished as well; even if they are prosecutors, social workers or investigators or perjured witnesses!
