Are We Okay With Profit Driven Justice?

It's hard to believe that this DA is just so proud of her incentive driven justice system! If the public can read this article and it doesn't make them lose some serious sleep; then there is something very wrong with what we allow our top law enforcers get away with!

Without a doubt, this is not the only prosecutor intently focused upon winning cases and maintaining their political agendas, rather than truly being devoted to the truth and seeking out real justice. In my opinion, when you switch the focus from truth to monetary or political incentives, the process and the truth is at great risk and our constitutional protections will slip through the cracks.

As you read, think about your own community and those that are in these positions and ask yourself if you really know and understand how they operate in your community and just exactly how safe you are against this type of injustice.

The Fruit Doesn't Fall Far From the Tree...Or Does It?

Do you ever wonder what makes our views so different from others around us? I mean we seem to hold the same principles and core beliefs, but yet we differ in so many other ways. Is it the way we grew up or was it the environment we found ourselves surrounded by? There must be something that makes us take such polar opposite views on many things and yet unites us on others.
