Feds won't file charges in death of teen at Florida boot camp

Is this really how our society perceives justice? And the Dept. of Justice finds no wrong doing? If a parent were to inflict severe "corporal punishment" upon their kid, they'd spend the rest of their life in prison...guaranteed. Apparently the state and government are exempt. I always understood that the use of deadly force required certain criteria for justification...and it took 7 of them to handle this kid until he died? Crazy stuff. The real thugs are wearing the uniforms. What kind of "man" can morally justify beating a 14 year old kid to death, let alone, a group beating? The Justice Department says that "bad judgment" cannot be used against the attackers, but it was bad judgment that was used against the youth to put him in this situation. Got to love double standards. This gives a whole new meaning to "BOOT CAMP"!

The Fruit Doesn't Fall Far From the Tree...Or Does It?

Do you ever wonder what makes our views so different from others around us? I mean we seem to hold the same principles and core beliefs, but yet we differ in so many other ways. Is it the way we grew up or was it the environment we found ourselves surrounded by? There must be something that makes us take such polar opposite views on many things and yet unites us on others.
